The Lost Coast Rotaract Club from Eureka California, and the Rotaract Club of Agrabad, in Chittagong Bangladesh have signed a Twin Club agreement.
While in Chittagong Bangladesh, three of our Lost Coast Rotaract members, Carly Robbins, Jamie Carroll and Royce Buell, and Cory Busher from North Bay Rotaract were fortunate enough to be able to work alongside rotaractors from the city of Chittagong.
Members from the Rotaract clubs of Agrabad, Chittagong and Port City served as translators during the mission, helping the entire medial and non-medical team to communicate with patients, their parents and the medical team in Bangladesh. Good friendships were formed and the Rotaract clubs of Agrabad, Chittagong and Port City even held a special joint meeting to welcome all four rotaractors from California.
During this visit members of the Lost Coast Rotaract Club and North Bay Rotaract signed twinning agreements with the Rotaract Club of Agrabad.
Lost Coast Rotaract is extremely excited for the opportunity to partner with such wonderful rotaractors abroad on future projects and look forward to the chance to create lasting relationships with our friends in Chittagong.
